High Street Church Tween Bowling Outing

@ Cardinal Lanes

All 4th and 5th graders are invited to a great afternoon of bowling, food, and excitement.  Kids can be dropped off and picked up at Cardinal Lanes in the Ball State Student Center.  $5 will cover bowling, shoes, pizza, and drinks.  You are encouraged to bring friends.  Please RSVP to Pastor David in the church office by Thursday February 16 with a pizza preference.

Scout Sunday on February 12th

 Current and past Cub Scouts, Boys Scouts, and Girl Scouts are invited to attend worship 

at High Street Church this Sunday February 12th for Scout Sunday.  

Scouts will be prayed for and honored for their faithful work to do their best for God and country.  

Please wear your uniforms so we can recognize you and say thank you for your service! 

 Scout Sunday be celebrated in each of the three worship services at 8:30, 9:45, and 11:00 am.

Promiseland in February: Stories of Courage

What happens when trouble comes?  How do we act around people who don't show respect or when people are mean?  How can we show strength and courage? February in Promiseland is all about handling conflict God's way. To learn how to handle trouble with the spirit of Christ we will be exploring these stories. You may want to read them at home!

Promiseland in January

Promiseland for January

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow.  Join us in Promiseland this January for "Snow Day" for a white and cool time!  Our winter hands on experiences will certainly delight your senses and help you grow in the faith.  

We love the story of the birth of baby Jesus in the manger.  But what happens next?  Snow Day starts the new year by asking us to follow the start of Jesus' life as he grows up.  We will learn about how Simeon and Anna prophesy about Jesus and how Jesus speaks with the teachers of his day.  Discover Jesus' baptism and the beginnings of his ministry.  

How can we trust God to keep his promises?  How can we ask Jesus change us?  These and other great questions will be a part of "Snow Day."
